Hello and welcome back to Half Finished Food!
I know I’ve been on a little hiatus recently, which I have no excuse for other that having exactly ZERO motivation to write, and I didn’t want to give you guys a bunch of half-baked blog entries.
So let's get right into it! We found this super cute café and bakery in Boston while we were there recently, and I have to say, I think it's one of my new favorite places to eat (and especially to get sweet treats😉).
We got a few treats to share since we had just eaten lunch, so I'll do a rundown. First, the Passion Fruit Krembo. This had a macaroon-like base with vanilla cream topping covered in a passionfruit glaze, and I’m pretty sure there was some lemon curd somewhere in there. Out of everything, this was my favorite. It was just the right combination of everything.Next up we have a Blueberry Lemon Pavlova. So if you didn’t already know, a pavlova is a meringue base in a nest-like shape, with various fillings dependent on whatever flavors you want. This pavlova in particular had a lemon curd filling with whipped cream on top, covered with fresh blueberries and dusted with powdered sugar. It was quite delicious, but I definitely wouldn’t have been able to finish one on my own. It would be a perfect treat to share with a few friends though!

And last but not least, we have the Mocha Espresso Mousse. I always love a good mousse, but I will say, I would’ve liked this one to be a little sweeter. It was very rich, but the coffee paired perfectly with the creamy chocolate.
All in all, they were all delicious, and I would 100% come here again. They also had a full café and food menu as well, which I didn’t get to try but would love to the next time we visit.

Also a note, they did an amazing job with marking the treats for allergies, which included gluten free (or gluten sensitive as they said), dairy free and more.
The décor was so cute and stylish, and it was just the kind of place you could sit for hours with a coffee and sweet treat while doing work or writing or something. Which that will literally be me whenever u get to writing the book I keep saying im gonna start, lol.
So, yeah. Definitly go check this place out if you’re in the area, and maybe it’ll give you an excuse to visit Boston😉. (Not that you need one; Boston is one of my favorite cities ever.)
Thank you guys for reading and I hope you follow along on this journey! <3
